
Nicholas
DOB 9-1-91
Nicholas is very rambunctious and full of energy. He likes attention and will act out until he gets attention. He is a loving child who loves to be hugged and held. He likes to sit and play with toys, especially the Woody doll. Nicholas likes Scooby Doo, Woody from Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear. He enjoys watching wrestling, football and action movies. He does not like hot dogs or butter.
Nicholas has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome. This is a genetic disorder. Nicholas is non-verbal. He cannot deal with a lot of people nor too much excitement at one time. He has a short attention span. He is in a special school setting to address his special needs. He requires total one to one attention with frequent verbal prompts. He needs a very structured environment with lots of consistency.
Nicholas has adjusted well to his foster placement. He needs a loving, supportive adoptive family who is willing to be flexible in dealing with his challenging behavior.
